At the Inverloch Environment Centre & Shell Museum learn about the local dinosaur bones discovery, or for a different journey back in time visit The State Coal Mine in nearby Wonthaggi.
Have a game of Putt Putt in town, or play a round of golf at Leongatha’s Vern Morcom designed golf course. Less than an hour away is The Penguin Parade at Phillip Island, a delight for children and adults alike.
Inverloch hosts several major events each year including the Inverloch Jazz Festival (Labour Day long weekend March), The Wooden Boat Regatta (Australia Day weekend January) and the Bass Coast Cycle Challenge and Family Festival (November). The town is also abuzz during the MotoGP motorcycle race at Phillip Island in October.
